Kodakskaya fortress .

Kodakskaya fortress is a Polish fortress and is situated on the right bank of the Dnieper River a mile from the village of Old Dnepropetrovsk Kaidak . The name of the fortress in Turkic language means a settlement on the hill.\r\nKodakskaya fortress was built in July 1635 , construction work in the castle led a French engineer, de Beauplan .Its purpose was to overlap the exit.
