Built in 1952-1953 on the site of a former brick factory. This is the first indoor sports hall in Ukraine and one of the first in the Soviet Union, indoor sports halls. Prior to that built sports halls with benches along the walls , and the Sports Palace was Navrotsky multifunctional building with bleachers and had the original architecture .Is an architectural monument and is protected by the state.
The dimensions of the main hall - 30 × 30 meters, the complex also includes facilities for training in weightlifting , fencing and boxing. The hall provides a platform for 600 spectators. Dressing rooms are located under the stands , showers , instructor , massage and other auxiliary facilities.
