The remains of the fortifications on Castle Cossack times ( Bogdanova) mountain in the center of town. A small stone fortress Chigirinskaya ( 200x150 m ) was surrounded by walls with towers and bastions. Later, the fortress is almost completely dismantled for building materials, arranged on a mountain quarry.Now here is a park, which are reconstructed bastion Doroshenko (XVI-XVII cc.) , At the foot of a monument to Kobzar and other sculptures . Installed on top of a majestic monument to B. Khmelnitsky , and a stone cross in honor of the heroes of the battle with the Polish and Turkish invaders .The complex is part of the National Historical and Cultural Reserve Chigirin , tours are conducted by officers of the Museum of B. Khmelnitsky , located on the territory of the Hetman's residence at the foot of the mountain.
