Holy Cross Church - Armenian church in Rostov-on -Don. Is the oldest surviving building in the present boundaries of the city.
The church was built in 1786-1792 , respectively. November 14, 1972 the building was opened Rostov Museum of Russian- Armenian friendship , with more than 10 thousand exhibits.Since 2000, the church resumed worship.
In the present temple is surrounded by residential neighborhoods , which form the Northern residential area. The temple with its surrounding park, enclosed by a fence, located on the right bank of the upper of two reservoirs in the Nordic beam Temernik to which he is facing ( the south).By the beam is an old stone staircase , from which the bridge can be reached on a small island in the middle of vodhranilischa . To the east of the ladder out from under the hill on which stands the temple , it beats a spring. Near the spring is arranged swimming pool and recreation area.
