Date of completion of construction and consecration of Holy Trinity Church is unknown - in the sources indicated different dates from 1848 to 1855. In 1985-1987, the cathedral is decorated with large chandelier in all domes, installed new gilded crosses, erected metal fencing along the walkway .
in the territory of the cathedral is a small cemetery - the burial place of the diocesan bishops and priests.Archbishop Andrei (Komarov ), Archbishop Barlaam ( Ilyushchenko ), Bishop Kronid (Mishchenko ), former rector of the cathedral : Archpriest Vladimir Kapustiansky , Archpriest Constantine Ogienko , creators of the temple : Fedor and Andrei Duplenko Kirpichnikov , other clergy and philanthropists have found their final resting place beneath the walls of the cathedral .During the first bombing of the city, in 1941, into the courtyard of the cathedral with the nearby streets were brought the bodies of citizens, who were buried in a mass grave on the right of the central gate .
