Lviv Academic Theatre. Kurbas - Theatre in Lviv, located in a former theater variety show built in 1909 .
The authors of the project buildings were Fedorsky Z. and S. Matsudzinsky .
It was founded in 1988 by director Vladimir Kuchinsky and a group of young actors.The theater staged by the Grateful Erody Skovoroda, between the two forces of Vladimir Vinnichenko Fun for Faust on the novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky Crime and Punishment , the Apocrypha by Lesia Ukrainka .
The theater is involved in many international and Ukrainian festivals.The play Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett won the Grand Prix at the Youth Theater Forum II in Belarus in 2007.
