In the Middle Ages, the younger branch of the property House of Savoy , hunting in Stupinidzhi in the XVI century belonged to the Marquis of Pallavicino kind .King Victor Amadeus II , commissioned Filippo Yuvarre to build a hunting lodge for Stupinidzhi stay of the court during the visits of King on the hunt. Construction began in 1729 and continued intermittently throughout the XVIII century. Over the finish inner chambers worked masters of Venice.
In the XIX century monarchs Stupinidzhi used for entertainment events and wedding celebrations. Today the palace is a museum of decorative arts. On the original design of the building shows a statue of a deer on the roof.
