Avlita stevedoring company - is one of the most dynamically developing enterprises of Sevastopol. The company is engaged in maritime transshipment .SC Avlita metal handles , and operates one of the largest Ukrainian grain terminal .
Avlita transshipment facilities are located on the northern side of the only deep- freezing in Ukraine Sevastopol bay.
The company has two berths with a total length of 500 meters , equipped with railroad tracks , 15 cranes, including eight gantry cranes , portal 7 , 5 of gantry cranes and Liebherr Gottvald fifth generation.
SK Avlita able to accept large ships up to 80 thousand tons.
The company employs about 800 people. The average wage of workers Avlita SC in 2008 increased by 25 % compared to 2007 with 3419 and reached the hryvnia, which is almost two times higher than the average in Sebastopol.
