National Gallery of Stuttgart, with its rich collection of paintings and plastics from 14th to 20th century , belongs to the most frequently visited museums in Germany. Emphasis is placed on the collection of art of the 20th century . In the permanent collection are exhibited 800 works of art.
Each year the state spends about gallery from 7 to 8 exhibitions in which the visitors are presented , including works from the museum's Art Fund , which has more than 400 000 works .
