The theater was founded as the Regional Theatre for Young People in 1930. The first performance was on the play Aul Gidzhe NY Shestakova directed by Boris Smirnov .Before 1937, the theater was part of the system of public education , and in 1937 - was reassigned Kuibyshev Management for the Arts and took his place among the professional groups of the Kuibyshev region . In June 1941, the theater no longer exists .
August 27, 1942 in the newspaper Volga commune letter appeared a group of prominent scientists and educators Kuibyshev Pedagogical Institute TUZ should be . The Board of Kuibyshev Regional Council issued a statement : Theatre for Young People to open in honor of the 25th anniversary of the October Revolution.
