construction is directly connected with the increase in Jewish population. Samara growing diaspora have neither quantitatively nor qualitatively not satisfied with two existing houses of worship in the city .The petition of the Jews to build a large synagogue was granted, and in 1903 laid the largest synagogue in the 1,000 seats .
In 1929, the synagogue was closed. The building was the Palace of Culture in the future - hlebzavod .
There are currently plans for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the synagogue [2] [ 3].
