Rostov Botanical Gardens - Botanical Garden , Southern Federal University , located on the north- western part of the Rostov-on- Don, in the valley Temernik . Is the first botanical garden in the vast territory of treeless areas of southern Russia .
In the garden there is a mineral spring , which bears the name of St. Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox and revered as sacred.
In the garden greenhouses and open field grows more than 5,000 species of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants , including those in the greenhouse of tropical and subtropical plants in the collection of the flora of Africa, Southeast Asia, North and South America , Australia, collected nearly 1600 species of plants.
