Krasnoyarsk Drama Theatre. Pushkin is the oldest theater in Krasnoyarsk. The first performance of the professional theater was held in Krasnoyarsk in the middle of the XIX century. In 1873 was built the first wooden building of the theater . In 1898, the wooden town theater burned to the ground .Over the years went on the accumulation of funds to build a new theater. In 1902, the opening ceremony of the People's House , the theater, which was named after Alexander Pushkin. In 1930 fire again destroyed a large part of the building . In the summer of 1935 completed the restructuring of the auditorium and foyer .But this is not the last fire in the history of testra - January 20, 2011 in the theater caught fire . Today, the life of the theater , despite his advanced age , full of youthful energy and plans. Maturing new creative projects , comes a young direction, there are two small scenes, we are working with young artists , international projects are planned .Theatre continues to live.
