Higher Theatre School named after BV Shchukin , from 2002 - Theatrical Institute of the Boris Shchukin at the State Academic Theatre named after Eug. Vakhtangov - high school drama of the Russian Federation. The Institute trains professionals in the following areas : Actor Drama and Film and Theatre Director .

A distinctive feature of the Pike (the school is usually called in theatrical circles ) is that her teachers - always has been for eight decades - it is graduates . This keeps the theatrical tradition and culture of teaching.

 

The School taught such remarkable and outstanding teachers as Vakhtangov Lileeva , Mansurov , Yuri Katin- Yartsev Vladimir Halperin , Vera Lviv , Boris Brodsky , Yevgeny Simonov , and talented instructors Albert Burov, Palamishev and many others.
