In 1962, the collection of the Lviv Art Gallery at 11 thousand exhibits. As of early 2007, the funds are 58,000 works of art , representing nearly 40 countries.The Department of Western European art - paintings Peter Paul Rubens , Titian, Goya , Robert J. and others.
In the late 1940s, the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum in Leningrad, Lvov Picture transferred a large number of paintings by Russian artists ( Ilya Repin, Isaak Levitan , Ivan Aivazovsky, Vereshchagin , KAKorovin and others ), so that the gallery has several halls of Russian art.
