Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan ( 1916-2004 gg.) Came to power in Abu Dhabi in August 1966 in a bloodless palace coup of the members of ruling family Nahyan, Emir Sheikh against then Shahbuta , the elder brother Zayed . In 1968,Sheikh Zayed has put forward the idea of creating a single state out of nine emirates, which at that time were of concern to British soil.
