Pharmacy Museum - National Museum in Lviv .
Museum of the History of Pharmacy was established in 1966 based on an old pharmacy. Drugstore remains current and continues to produce so-called Iron Wine ( iron sucrose , when used in iron-deficiency anemia ).
The museum includes more than three thousand exhibits in 16 halls with total area of 700 square meters. m. In the trading floor the most interesting exhibits are pharmaceutical scales .The second room was a room above , where medical supplies were stored , there is now a collection of tableware for the storage of medicines, pharmacy equipment of different eras , the old over-the-counter drugs . The interior of the third hall recreates an old pharmacy laboratory. The exposition continues in a wing built at the turn of the XV and XVI centuries.It housed an alchemy lab , which is reproduced on ancient paintings and engravings , as well as a library, which has over three thousand books. In the basement of the old pharmacy restored interiors of the early 18th century and reconstructed in the courtyard type house prosperous tradesman XVI-XVII centuries .
