Park Citadel is the most central park in all of Barcelona.
It is located in north-eastern edge of Old Town .
Park Citadel is a very busy place , crowded with tourists and locals who are usually going for a walk with their children.This park is best for sport, for example , you can go boating in the lake, ride a bike ( like boats and bikes can be rented ), or run trot.
The main attraction of the park since its creation is still a zoo .
From 1966 to 2003, this zoo was home to the famous white gorilla Snowflake, which attract many foreign tourists and local residents.
In the lake, on the parade ground cased orange trees, old citadel is a fortress of the remaining baroque arsenal .Before the attractive facade of red brick, which now sits in the parliament of Catalonia and posted a collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MAMB), dug a small pond with water lilies and sculpture Josep Limony despair .
