Khersonskaya oblast

Kherson region , a vast territory located in southern Ukraine on the bank of the Dnieper to the administrative center of the city , Kherson. During the reign of Catherine was called New Russia and abroad empire.

The area includes nine cities, including the 3 cities of regional subordination , 30 urban villages and 658 villages.The area consists of 18 districts .

One of the attractions of the area is the largest sand massif in the Ukraine - Oleshkivski sands , located near the town of Tsyurupinsk .
