Bavaria

Bavaria , the land located in the foothills of the Alps in the south and south- east of Germany. One of the oldest countries in Europe.

It is known as a haven for tourists and the country for recreation. Among the picturesque valleys of the Danube and the Main, there are marvelous beauty of the lake , such as the Chiemsee, Bavarian Forest National Park and many other enchanting places.

The capital of the land -Munich , the first mention of which relates to 1158 , its central area , which is its main attraction Marienplatz witness antiquity of this city.

Until 1950 Bavaria was an agrarian land considered rural capital Munich .Among the other crops are grown here for the famous Bavarian hops beer that is brewed according to the Law of Purity , adopted back in 1516

Today Bavaria is becoming one of the most developed countries in soostave Germany. Here are actively developing automotive and aerospace industry .electrical engineering , precision mechanics , optics, medical equipment manufacturing , chemical industry. Here are the works of such giants as BMW, Audi, MAN, Siemens and many other famous brands.

In spite of industrialization, Bavaria is one of the major tourist regions.Here, a huge number of historical sights , museums, various festivals , including the world famous beer had won a holiday Theresienwiese - Oktoberfest and many other great festivals.

Bavaria is one of the oldest countries in Europe.

Conquered by the Romans , then Germans, she gave birth to the people who came out of mixing the Romans, the ancient Celtic and Germanic tribes.

There are still many beautiful monuments: the palaces of Louis II - Neuschwanstein Castle ,, Herrenchiemsee - Castle Fest Coburg , the residence of archbishops in Wuerzburg and Bamberg Cathedral, Our Lady (Frauenkirche) and many other witnesses to the ancient history of this land.
